Graduate breaks 69-years-old record in University of Ibadan

It does not matter how long a record lives, someone you cannot imagine will surely surface to break it at last -- Ozibo Ebele, a 2013 graduate of Mass Communication from University of Nigeria Nsukka and a 2016 graduate of Ibadan School of History, Faculty of Arts, University of Ibadan, reportedly broke a record that has lived up to 69 years in the University, as he finished with a First Class Honours -- clinching 6.6 out of 7.0.

In the course of this grade, he became the first person to graduate with First Class Honours in the 69-year-old Department.

Some of the prizes he also won include; Best Graduating Student of both Faculty of Arts and Department of History; Dr. Robert Bradbury Memorial Prize; Irving and Bonar Prize; Oba Lipede Prize; CUSO Nigeria Limited Prize; J.A. Atanda Memorial Prize; and Omoyisola Atanda Memorial Prize in History.
