Nigerians are increasingly impatient for dividends of democracy - Buhari

Nigerians are increasingly impatient for the delivery of the dividends of democracy and government at all levels must work towards satisfying their yearnings, says President Muhammadu Buhari.

Buhari made this statement at the opening ceremony of the 48th Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA), Africa Region, which held in Imo state over the weekend. Represented by his Vice, Yemi Osinbajo, President Buhari in a speech delivered by Osinbajo, said.

“We must be charlatan of the worst order to our leadership if it does not provide and secure future. I must say that our nation is increasingly getting impatient waiting for the dividend of our democracy. It is our duty to ensure that we satisfy the yearnings of the millions of people who depend on us’’, he said
