See as lucky Doctor that survived Ebola infection in 2014 tells her story (video)

A year the beautiful and dark skinned Doctor, Adaora Okoli will never forget in her entire life was year 2014 when she survived the infection from a fast killer disease called Ebola.

The woman was equally lucky to be alive as many died of the infection during that year.

A patient suffering from Ebola has checked into the hospital where she was working and in the process of treating the patient, she got infected with the deadly disease.

She did not know if she would live or die.

“You don’t know if it’s going to end with your death,” she said.

But as luck will have it, she survived.

Ever since the unexpected turn of things, she has dedicated her life to the research, treatment, and prevention of future epidemics, studying at the Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.

On Thursday, she was named as one of Bill Gates‘ 5 “Heroes in the Field.”

Dr Adaora Okoli was also featured on TIME magazine, where she shared her story to the world.
