Buhari releases condolence message following Benue Church killings, Nigerians react

President Mohammadu Buhari has released his condolence message following another attack allegedly carried out by Fulani herdsmen in Benue State, where two Rev'd fathers and 17 others were reportedly killed during a church service.

As reported by The Punch, Armed herdsmen, on Tuesday  morning attacked St. Ignatius Quasi Parish Ukpor-Mbalom in Ayar-Mbalom community of Gwer East Local Government Area of Benue State, killing two Catholic priests and 17 other worshipers.

The attack came barely four days after the murder of ten persons by herdsmen in Guma Local Government Area and the destruction of several  houses by men suspected to be military personnel in Naka, Gwer West Local Government Area of the state, and these kind of attacks have been so perpetual and seem unchecked.

In response to this, President Muhammadu Buhari took to his twitter handle to condemn the intent of such attack and those behind the perpetration, promised to bring the bandits to book as soon as possible.
